Terms & Conditions

  1. The campaign is available for thirty (30) calendar days, starting from 4 August 2026 till 3 September 2026.
  2. Offer eligibility: a) New customers: the offer is available when subscribing to the “Special” plan during the campaign period. b) Existing customers: upon upgrading to the “Special” plan during the campaign period.
  3. Waiver of the setup fee, reducing it to 0.
  4. New customers receive the “Special” plan subscription for 149.50 per month for the first three (3) months from the activation date.
  5. Existing “Starter” or “Spark” customers upgrading to the “Special” plan receive the subscription for 149.50 per month for the first three (3) months from the upgrade activation date.
  6. The international Visa transaction fee is reduced from 3% to 1.99% for the first three (3) months for new customers, and the first three (3) months for existing customers upgraded to the “Special” plan.
  7. The local Visa cash-withdrawal fee is reduced from 12 to 6 for the first three (3) months.
  8. New customers qualify for uncapped 1% cashback on eligible international and e-commerce transactions, conditional on reaching total card spend of 100,000 or more within the first ninety (90) days.
  9. Existing customers, after upgrading to the “Special” plan, qualify for 1% cashback on eligible international and e-commerce transactions, capped at 3,000 per month, and conditional on reaching a minimum total card spend of 100,000 within the first ninety (90) days.
  10. The monthly mada card fee is waived for any individual card that records eligible POS spend of 1,000 or more during that month.
  11. The mada card-fee waiver applies for the first twelve (12) months for new customers, and the first three (3) months for customers upgrading from the “Starter” or “Spark” plans to the “Special” plan.
  12. mada plastic-card printing and replacement fees are reduced from 50 to 20 for the first three (3) months, excluding VAT.
  13. Local mada cash withdrawals are free for the first three (3) months for “Special” plan customers or customers upgraded to the “Special” plan.
  14. The promotional period for each customer begins on the activation date of the new “Special” account or the plan upgrade, and no later than thirty (30) days from the application date.
  15. At the end of each promotional period, all applicable charges automatically revert to the standard published tariff of the Hala Expenses Management product.
  16. All fees and services not expressly included in this offer remain subject to Hala's standard published tariff.
  17. Eligibility for cashback and fee waivers is determined based on Hala's transaction records, which shall prevail in the event of any discrepancy.
  18. Refunded, reversed, disputed, fraudulent, artificial, or invalid transactions may be excluded from spend calculations and may result in the reversal of previously granted benefits.
  19. The review and processing of all reimbursement and cashback requests may take up to one (1) month from the original transaction date.
  20. Hala reserves the right to verify customer, account, subscription, card, and transaction eligibility before applying any campaign benefit.
  21. Hala reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the campaign where necessary, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  22. Hala's general terms and conditions, the Hala Expenses Management product terms, and the applicable card terms shall apply.
